Having run my own building company and with a detailed understanding of the planning process, my architectural consultancy services provide advice and practical support.
Architectural Consultancy Services
In operation since 2006, my comprehensive architectural services cover:
- Free consultation – an initial discussion to help me understand your vision and where I can assist.
- Site surveys – a detailed look at the site to understand the potential and limitations. I am happy to advise on permitted development and other aspects of the build.
- Conceptual Designs – drawings to help you visualise how the build will look. Adjustments at this stage can improve the layout and increase the chance of planning permission being given.
- Full plans for planning applications – the preparation of detailed plans that can be submitted to the Planning Office.
- Meeting requirements for Building Regulations – all developments have to be fully compliant with Building Regulations and my architectural consultancy services make this a priority.
Further Architectural Services
I also have experience with the following:
- Tendering and recommendations – plans can also be sent to building contractors, so they can provide informed quotes for the work. I can liaise with builders on your behalf and support you with the selection process.
- Contract administration - let me take on responsibility for keeping on top of all the paperwork.
- Site supervision - when the building work commences, my construction project management expertise can be put to good use as a site supervisor.
- Party wall Act – if applicable to your build, I can prepare information and documentation for the owners of neighbouring properties.
